CiiroĀ Gitonga is a marketing communications consultant and certified Project Management Professional (PMPĀ®) with over 15 years of experience across public, private and impact sectors. She specialises in strategy development, digital marketing, brand transformation and internal capability building. Through her consultancy, Azarel, she supports organisations to structure and scale their communications for business or social impact. As a mental health advocate with lived experience, she combines research, storytelling and practical engagement to shift public understanding and support community-rooted mental health care beyond surface-level awareness campaign.
Ciiro brings a unique blend of strategic communications expertise and lived experience to her mental health advocacy. She supports organisations to develop structured, impact-driven communications that advance both visibility and long-term change. Her focus is on reframing how mental health is understood and addressed, shifting beyond awareness to build systems of care that are sustainable, evidence-based and rooted in community realities.
