Jane Hagemann

Jane Hagemann is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Zusammen Global

Consulting LLC, a woman-owned consulting firm based in Nairobi, Kenya, focused on

strengthening fundraising strategies, donor engagement, and organizational alignment.

With over 20 years of experience living and working across sub-Saharan Africa, Jane

brings a strong programmatic background in international development. Her experience

ranges from directing complex, multi-country development initiatives and overseeing

multi-million-dollar nonprofit programs to leading business development efforts,

supporting fundraising strategies, and facilitating strategic workshops for NGOs, the

World Bank, and government ministries.

Jane is recognized for her ability to think strategically while bringing creative and

practical solutions to complex challenges. She enjoys working collaboratively across

diverse teams, organizations, and sectors to turn ideas into action.

In addition to her consulting work, Jane serves as the Community Lead for the Nairobi

Chapter of Global Expats Group, where she fosters connections and community

engagement among expatriates navigating life and work abroad. She also enjoys

supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners as a Business Coach. Jane holds

a Masters of Public Health, a Bachelors in Communications, and a certificate from

Shipley Associates in business development and strategy.

Originally from the United States, Jane has made Africa her home for much of the past

two decades. She is passionate about strengthening organizations, building meaningful

partnerships, and contributing to initiatives that create lasting social impact. Outside of

work, she enjoys exploring East Africa with her husband and their two children.
